Publication Ethics

ESTUDIAR: Jurnal Penelitian Multidisiplin Mahasiswa is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles throughout the publication process:

For Authors:

  1. Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Plagiarism in any form, including the use of others' work without proper attribution, is strictly prohibited.

  2. Authorship: All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript.

  3. Data and Results: Authors must accurately present their research findings and ensure the integrity of the data. Any potential errors or inaccuracies should be promptly reported to the journal's editorial office.

  4. Conflict of Interest: Authors should disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships that may be perceived as a potential conflict of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.

  5. Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors should provide proper acknowledgment of all sources used in their research, including cited publications and individuals who have contributed significantly to the work.

  6. Ethical Approval: For studies involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data, authors should obtain appropriate ethical approval and include this information in the manuscript.

For Reviewers:

  1. Confidentiality: Reviewers should treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and should not disclose any information regarding the content of the manuscript to anyone other than the editorial team.

  2. Objectivity and Constructive Feedback: Reviewers should provide unbiased and constructive feedback on the manuscript to help authors improve their work. Personal criticism of the authors is not appropriate.

  3. Conflicts of Interest: Reviewers should promptly notify the editorial office if they have any conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an objective review.

For Editors:

  1. Impartiality: Editors should handle all manuscripts objectively, regardless of the authors' race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or other factors.

  2. Peer Review Process: Editors should ensure a fair and timely peer review process. Manuscripts should be evaluated based on their academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.

  3. Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff should maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and should not disclose any information about the manuscripts to individuals other than the authors, reviewers, and publishers involved in the peer review process.

  4. Publication Decisions: Editorial decisions should be based on the manuscript's quality, originality, and adherence to ethical standards.

  5. Handling of Misconduct: Editors should address any allegations of research misconduct promptly and appropriately, following established guidelines and procedures.
