Withdrawal Policy

DEVOZIONE: Jurnal Pengabdian Multidisiplin Mahasiswa understands that circumstances may arise where authors need to withdraw their submitted manuscripts from consideration. We have outlined the following withdrawal policy to ensure a transparent and fair process:

  1. Withdrawal before Peer Review:

    • If authors wish to withdraw their manuscript before it has undergone the peer review process, they can do so by sending a withdrawal request to the editorial office at [contact email].
    • The withdrawal request must be submitted by the corresponding author and include the manuscript title, submission ID, and the reason for withdrawal.
    • Authors are advised to make sure that they have adhered to the journal's author guidelines and ethical considerations before submitting the withdrawal request.
  2. Withdrawal after Acceptance:

    • In the event that a manuscript has already been accepted for publication, withdrawal requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Authors should provide a detailed explanation for the withdrawal request and must understand that publication charges (if applicable) are non-refundable once the manuscript has been accepted.
  3. Withdrawal Due to Ethical Concerns:

    • If there are any ethical concerns or allegations of research misconduct related to a submitted manuscript, the editorial team will investigate the matter thoroughly.
    • If the investigation confirms the presence of ethical violations, the manuscript may be withdrawn from consideration, and appropriate actions will be taken.
  4. Withdrawal Resulting from Multiple Submissions:

    • Authors are advised not to submit the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals for consideration.
    • If a manuscript has been accepted or published elsewhere, authors must promptly inform DEVOZIONE and request withdrawal of the submitted manuscript.
  5. Withdrawal Decision:

    • The withdrawal request will be evaluated by the editorial team, and the corresponding author will be notified of the decision via email.
    • If the withdrawal request is approved, the manuscript will be officially withdrawn from consideration, and no further actions will be taken regarding the publication process.

Please note that once a manuscript has been officially published in DEVOZIONE, it cannot be withdrawn, as it becomes a permanent part of the journal's published content.
